The Corporate Park of Staten Island is the ONLY Corporate Park in New York City. It was established by The Nicotra Group, LLC. More than 5,000 people work in the companies located in the seven A-Class office buildings located The Corporate Park of Staten Island which is located in Bloomfield, Staten Island along South Avenue. The Hilton Garden Inn Staten Island and Hampton Inn & Suites offer conference, dining and hospitality ammenities. There is on-site childcare and free parking.
Founded in 1976 as a major international fast-food franchise by Richard and Lois Nicotra, The Nicotra Group has since developed into Staten Island’s premiere real estate development company with properties in Staten Island and Manhattan. As Staten Island’s largest private real estate developer, the award-winning Nicotra Group owns, manages and leases nearly one million sq. ft. of prime commercial space and countless acres of impeccably cared for grounds. These properties include seven Class A office buildings, the 150-room Hilton Garden Inn, the adjacent Nicotra’s Ballroom and Conference Center, the popular Lorenzo’s Restaurant, Bar & Cabaret and the 107-room Hampton Inn & Suites – all located within a 415-acre natural wildlife preserve in the Corporate Park of Staten Island.
Richard and Lois Nicotra direct 25% of the profits from the Corporate Commons, two of the buldings they own on South Avenue, to the Lois and Richard Nicotra Foundation. The mission of the Nicotra Foundation is to support the children of The Nicotra Group employees in their pursuit of a college education as well as supporting a variety of not-for-profit institutions.
The Nicotras established The Bloomfield Conservancy to promote and effectuate protection, clean-up, preservation and improvement of the land in the area of South Avenue, Staten Island, New York, between Forest Avenue and Glen Street and between Glen Street and Arlene Street, including, but not limited to, Travis Avenue and Victory Boulevard; to erect fencing and a barrier for the purpose of protecting the Site from potential damage; to clean-up and maintain the Site; to provide information to people of all ages that will promote the preservation and protection of the environment, wetlands and endangered trees and knowledge of the local plant and animal life present at the Site; to maintain, beautify and enhance the Site and the surrounding community; to render advice and assistance to other organizations, whether for profit or not-for-profit, in connection with the preservation and promotion of the environment.
